"What is Spring Time in Tyler County, Texas? A glorious abundance of beautiful blooming trees and flowers against a dark background of towering pines. With a community purpose, spirit and vigor, Tyler Countians have paid tribute to the glories of Spring and the lovely dogwood trees since 1940 by creating each year a growing and more beautiful Dogwood Festival.

Experience the annual celebration of the stunning Dogwood trees in Woodville, Texas at the Tyler County Dogwood Festival. Join us for our three weekends filled with music, food, arts, and fun for the whole family!

What's New?

2024 Dogwood Queen: Elyn Meredith

Elyn Meredith, the 2024 Dogwood Queen, hails from Warren, Texas. She is the daughter of Brad and Brandy Meredith and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches. Elyn plans to enter nursing school in Spring 2026, following her prerequisite studies. When she is not busy with her classes, Elyn enjooys at the Tyler County Courthouse in the Treasurer's Office.

Elyn is so excited to celebrate Springtime in Tyler County in just a few months, and is eager to get to know all the young women participating in the 82nd Dogwood Festival.
